Lets start talking about whats happening now
This newest/oldest form lesbian homophobia is taking
Lets talk about whats happening to me, because theyve personalised it for me
Even tho its a hatecrime
Lets talk, because thats the new form of lesbian homophobia
It denies a woman is a lesbian, even when she says she is
Lesbianism has been kept invisible since sappho, at least, and all thru the middle ages
Its modern form, hatecrime personalises the erasure
By denying shes a lesbian her lesbianism is made invisible
the homophobic intent, and result is to make lesbianism invisible as a whole
Deny it as a legitimate female sexual identity
