Round us, Civilization damned, roadward to

Heaven sent Beauty, with her tresses of green feathers,

Falling on Love, standing, on the roof of your car,

Holding Heaven, Longing, in your side-mirror,

I saw you there, Ideal, round us, falling wintry air
