I went to Brahman, I said,
Why do you dream alone, inside my head?
I play, at life, try even death,
It’s funny because it charms me,
Maya and her snakes make my day,
Worth living. I ask of even atheism: why the unbelief?
It seemed I went by people,
Questioning why consciousness is never fully formed.
Then play a game: queen of diamonds in a bed of cards, jack of hearts, falling in love,
The night came Alive.
My heart, gambled in play,
My spirit, sealed in flight,
Sometimes, which card she plays,
Sometimes seems queen of spades, I, plaything
And chrysalis twist, butterfly settling on a leaf, thrilled, spirit dances becoming worship of earth’s faceted orb,
just a beast to her goddess.
Invisible as questions
As changed as the formless changing shape like a lycanthorpe under the moon,
And growing in two:
I long
To be nearer her mystery.
