On studying the nature of being

Metaphysics, the study of the nature of being. Each to their own studies, right?

When I think of how I was taught metaphysics at uni, it was taught very astutely atheist, and I think, “I can’t understand metaphysics that way”

That I could measure the whole universe when it’s something greater than the sum of what the whole universe is, or could be

When it is entailed by meditation on my goddess, a similar notion to the classical God

An atheist may grumble why do I have to learn it that way if I don’t believe?
From someone who does, I simply don’t understand being myself without my goddess in which to Be

Do you agree with me, g?

I mean, if you, as a doctor, g, take the physicians’ view of the physical body?

(I know you believe in God)

How do you understand the body? As the nature of the universe? Or body? Or spirit? Or God, g?

And our love? In what way do you slip us into our bodies in this universe of love we’ve drawn around us now? In this something greater I’ve predicated?

That I have no idea how you would answer, but my own thought is, our bodies may grow old or die, sink into corruption or decay

But we will be young and immortal, and in true love stay – an immortal soul – in that way that we’ve become ourselves, in that place in the universe, we place to be

For I no longer understand the universe without you
