A feather fell into my cupped hands beneath it.
I, a solid mountain beneath heaven. When it
Touched my hand, it touched my heart, my soul was
A light becomes a feather. A vow fell into my hands.
To hear your cackle rise. I took off to protect you. A
Mountain flying to you, I said to the unfunny freaks
“Just watch out for yourselves. I’ve very quick reactions,
And whichever of you I choose won’t see it coming. Beware.”
I wanted you to see them piss in their pants. Who they
Really are, their laughter turned yellowstreaks, running
Down their legs. They’re all talk. To give credence to
Their opinionated, straight views is to humour them, haha.
Maybe I’m joking, I may be serious. I may choose
To go after them with a feather and have them terrified,
Their hearts measured against that scale. Will you laugh
With me, then, G? Lighter than the world that be.
