The shape of my heart never changes, shape-shifts
For your heavy brow, a rock planted beneath a stream
Good or bad deathless memories, swimming passing crying
For the stream never stepped in twice, nay, not so, your
Colour shifts in sorrow. In you, my heart’s fintip darkens
Fish unknown in whose wake, a rainbow streak follows
And breaks, eternity passes you by, between waves
I’m crying for you today, ‘mid such truth and lies
