Ephesians
4:32-5:21
New International Version
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave
5 you. 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearl
loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as
Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a
fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Morning reflections (cont.)
Thinking of you, plants poetry, bad queen Lola, from
Plot grown from you, duende, Ephesians in my sentences
Cuz sometimes fighting is about you
Cuz sometimes fighting isn’t the right thing to do
There are so many good people out there
If I point my finger, how many point back at me?
Cuz sometimes I fight myself, too
As I relaxed my mid morning self left off anger,
I relaxed into raelene, forgiving, embodied in love again
And to know how good life is, that my single prayer that is you
G, came true, and all the good in the universe you brought with you
The freak hatred fell away, twas clear, without compassion
Without your love and forgiveness, the neonazis remain
For if I talk of love, they talk of love, but both hate,
Pointing fingers at each other, a Mexican standoff
If I cannot love and forgive them, if only in anger I remain,
In my fight for love I become their inflicted torture,
Turn to hatred, they taking on my hate, the two twain
Love and forgiveness built upon self compassion,
Self understanding is we’re all the same
If the neonazis don’t understand themselves, how us?
They’ll go on try destroy true love, the war endless
And my fight for love, turn twisted compassion into us
But no, I’ll never give up, bad queen Lola, at the beginning
I called you duende, and from your love you stem, fully
Formed in my poetry, g, and your love of me, flowering
Into love and compassion for all things in this universe
Duende, who brought Ephesians to me, my bad bad queen
