Public shame about something everyone does … doesn’t lower my humanity, it just puts you in the spotlight:

You don’t care about other people’s sense or feelings, their humanity

As if you have no human experience left

No, I’ll not kill myself for you – that would be like surrendering the war for our humanity to some trivial dream
