Metal heart

In a ghetto, packs of children come out at night,

In proud Scotland, paul picks his way thru garbage heaps,

The antithesis of all Nature’s godliness paul believes,

Lost in thought, in the pasts lush green hue, and lining his

Pathway thru, a deathly cynicism, unwinding the past

Within his heart, he loves so much, threatens him more

Than any teenage marauder, and I but listen, and wish I could

Use example, my love for you, growing over me, circling me,

In the spheres sung out still, in the roads car-lights, dwelling

Within Berwick’s dilapidated religion, become: someone

To blame; and yet, ‘gainst that tidal wave, g, you stand,

Dear paul, Nature’s living in us, she’s never left our hearts,

G, ‘tween us – feel it? Show them all, take your hand,

Come, dear paul, land to cyberpunk, swept away,

T’ween two lovers metal hearts, Nature stands, this very day
