Merry came,
Golden waves lapping to my door
As if I could pause the tacky world in blessing
Lights lighting, only huddled perversions seemed
I thought abomination for a while, just a lost thought
When I get in rhythm
With the universe
Comes to me
Beauty
The universe comes
In her only
In who I see golden waves
Wash against a broken home
The world
All flows into beauty
As if it always was and can never not be and is what life does, ever pours out beauty
The measure her golden face
And I’m perverted as anyone and lost in obsession
I’m stuck in suburban ecstasy, as if she put me on hold,
And out pours love, which her honey echoes back at me
Therein, life, is beauty
