A poem about everything

The circle of the moon, encompassed in midnight shadow: how do I penetrate her heart?

When my own shadow, casts itself to the ground, surrounded by shades of despair?

And people’s hearts, which around, demons grab for their laughter-

We’re all surrounded by hell!

If there’s light, the size of a quark, left in poesy, I’ll find it, for love, I’ll pour my soul upon it, pour out body and mind and fill it, with love,

And find again, love, the soul I remembered, is not mine, never was, it’s in people, loving-kindness of humankind, all of us,

I’d forgotten the Beauty, of the human spirit, I’d forgotten that love built mine, and I climb, to your portrait, the small light that shone, I’d compared you to the moon, the light in everyone, and the spirit in us each, everlasting eternal, in a form divine, in love a circle-

Burst open!
