A commotion
A lifespan, weary,
I sat and I was waiting
– and I’ve been thinking
About your fur jacket
Your sunglasses
Reflected my soul,
Solid as stone
True as a comet,
There was you
And my longing, uprooted
Thanked, spreading roots
Around you
And I’m not one
Lest one be two,
Now, beloved,
Where there is only two
Like some spiritual awakening,
It dawned
Like a revolution of heaven,
It occurred
Like a golden memory
It arose from the past
And I knew: it’s you, you
Of all the love I knew
Fly far away, race away,
Like the rest of the world,
To ruin
You in a fur jacket:
You ruled the land, and
The contamination zone
The fools never knew
I entwined, and we spread roots around eternity,
In a moment, that moment
We struck, where I knew you know it’s me, too
