An idolatry

The goddess of nature slides down

Brings up rain in handfuls of brilliance, drip, skin, leaf of moisture, dripping

And it’s meaning is as deep as the mirror of her eyes, still digging,

Turning up sorrow, like tears, drip, drip,

Saudade: as she left, cling dear as the earth to that sorrow:

And One is “to Be”

Preacher, you say it’s above ground, without sound, nor emotion, in your God only found,

I Be, one, but I be me:

So, preacher, is my love idolatry?

And where is your love found?

As an echo of what love was, once, old fashioned, and Noble?

Heart broken now, God in heaven, and heart hidden in invisibility?

Well I say, get up, I’ll worship Idolatry

To be One is earthbound,  love

And what you love,

(To Be is to be One love)

The heart merry wants to be together as one with desire,

Tho perhaps she be mortal, perhaps, who cares? Not me

A heart uninhabited is to lack one,

A heart full of poesy is laughter and dance,

A heart full of love is together with the universe,

My only guide to heaven, idolatry:

One love, one God, one universe, one dance,

Ill conclude every poem with her, like a true Idolater:

Cause I love who I am, being in my own skin

Well
