On reading Schumann’s wandering joy

I believe with eckhart that we walk as one with God.

There was the golden age of spirit in India.

There is the golden age of mysticism in eckhart.

Now, in materialism, there is the potential for a new golden age, one centred in pride, and queer theory.

To the ineffable, a complete circle, a reenchantment of the material, an elevation of the human spirit.

Just as a yogin uses their body to unite with the witness, body to spirit and spirit to body, both lifting each other, like a ladder.

That’s how I see queer theory’s contribution to spirituality.

I’m cautious, I don’t want to sound dogmatic, it’s ideas being fed in and thrown out.

The material, in all the spiritual books I’ve read, regarded as “sinful” “base” a “degredation” and “corrupt”.

The spiritual as the only true source of love.

Comes full circle, now:

The material spiritualists, elevated.

The spiritual in current traditions a thing of poverty.

But neither is wrong. Both are right, in their positive aspects.

Eckharts “little castle” (the spiritual aspect of us), pranayama breathing techniques (science which leads to the castle) the soul “breath”. Are not different. As we know breath is physical.

Both can be used to increase. This is my understanding of my own confused, not “lowly”, tho flawed, but regal, God/dess- like, state of body and soul.
