A troubling thought
Sent shivers thru the summer landscape
Leaves murmured, birds concerned,
I would want you to be loved old friend
For that you are, so solid
And the hologram of streets and houses
Revolves around you –
I would love you
My spirit become a mountain
Set down in Berwick,
Shielding you
Against the hydra
It’s multiheaded neon gloom
It’s pocket full of treats of doom
Landscape shivering, bustling noise inane blab
Bright your eyes
Your catlike humour
Your huge soul
Passing by
Landscape of dreams: a suburban bitumen road
Which could be anywhere
I dont know how this little place with its village sign, holds you
Or what trials your dearest heart goes thru
Each day I look upon you
My friend I’m shielding you
But I do know humans
And the lengths they’ll go to
It’s why they built the god-damned nukes
Waiting, I’m waiting for you
Calling, I’m calling for you
I uncover mother earth
And her windy embrace
Underneath this place
Swarm of the connected universe
I can taste the air
For once I pray for something
A taste on the air
Larger than I
Of beauty forming,
I just sit here
As I must I wait
Never have I believed so much
In earth’s goodness
Until I met you
